State Pensioners obtain legitimate benefits from their pension fund which is sustainably maintained.

Mission

AMAGP monitors and advocates that the GEPF pensioners' assets / benefits are carefully, effectively and efficiently managed on behalf of the fund's members, while ensuring that the fund is sustainable.

Values

Respect, Integrity, and Professionalism.

Approach

  • AMAGP affects the sustainability of the pension fund as follows:
  • We hold the Board of Trustees (BoT) accountable for carefully fulfilling their fiduciary duties.
  • Monitor the investments for performance and ethical behavior.
  • Use official government institutions with investigations to correct injustices.
  • Work with parliamentary functionaries and processes to advance AMAGP objectives.

Objectives

  • To ensure the sustainability of the government employees' pension fund.
  • To ensure that all government pensioners receive their rightful monthly annuity as well as an equitable annual adjustment to their pension.
  • To counter Government abuse of our pension fund.
  • Work with parliamentary functionaries and processes to advance AMAGP objectives.
